Overpriced and poncey
Although we last visited over a year ago, I have continued to walk past frequently as its on my route. Its seldom open consistently (during the week) remains mostly empty, occasionally full on the weekends (if open). Coffee is overpriced and very weak, staff are uneasy with a veneered cordiality. They’re poorly stocked on teas and pastries and even sold us a stale croissant, at which point we gave up going. Not sure if these google reviews are authentic or paid for; as a local, I can testify none of them can be true as they just don’t add up at street-level. No idea how they’ve survived the lease for this long. We found excellent cafe’s towards the swiss cottage side , west end lane and paddington recreation ground if staying local.
