About The Long Room Bar & Hotel
- 📍 Location is good, situated on the high street.
- 💩 One colleague had pigeon poo on their bed but were able to switch rooms.
- 🛏 Rooms are small and some have a shower next to the bed with mold.
- 🚽 Shared toilets with other rooms can be inconvenient for some guests.
- ⭐️ Mixed opinions about the experience, some would not visit again while others enjoyed their time.
- 🍻 The pub is a great place to watch sports and enjoy a pint of Guinness. Staff are excellent and it’s worth popping in if you’re in the area.
- 💼 Good value for money for business trips, although single rooms can be dark and tiny. Showers are clean though.
- 😄 Another visitor had a great time at the pub, praising the staff, drinks, and food which was superb. Can’t comment on staying at the hotel though.
- 🔧 Urgent refurbishment needed at the back of the establishment as furniture is tatty and carpets are dirty. This detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.
- ⚽️ Working locals book nights here without issues with noise from being above or roadside. Large local pub to watch sports with very good food.
