- 🔹 The bride booked a junior suite for her wedding day but the hotel didn’t provide the promised extra mirror and did not honor the upgrade they claimed to have given.
- 🔹 There were issues with the cold water in the shower, almost causing burns. Despite asking for another room to shower, they were told to wait until the following day and had to sleep feeling unclean.
- 🔸 Mixed opinions on cleanliness as one guest asked for cleaning their room while doing makeup, but it was delayed until 10 am instead of the promised 8 am.
- 🚿 Some issues with bad service that didn’t meet expectations considering the price paid.
- 😊 On a positive note, guests who stayed in the Tudor suite had a fantastic experience and had nothing but good things to say about all of The Gore’s staff.
- 💼 Staff members George, Julian, Didi at reception were helpful with recommendations and logistics. Dominic at Bar 190 was friendly and engaging in conversation. Laura, Marcela, and Andrea at 190 Queens Gate restaurant provided kind service throughout their meals.
- 😍 Guests enjoyed the historical charm of The Gore upon arrival and found it beautiful.
