Always good to be here. Busy with a vibe. For a drink with the dog or food. Good options for both vegetarians and meat eaters and salad lovers! Ample parking at nights (well if you’re the designated driver) . Brought a Canadian tourist here, he loved the fish and chips.

Beautiful and clean pub with lots of ambiance. My husband had the burger and they came with the absolute best crispy chips. I had a salad with roast beetroot and it was amazing.
They do table service which was nice for a change!
We brought our baby and they have an accessible toilet with change table, and they have a few high chairs available!

The best fish and chips I’ve had in a London pub, and probably the only one I managed to finish even though it was a big portion as it was delicious! The oil wasn’t smelly (sometimes you get that in pubs) and I didn’t feel gross after eating, just felt very full. My friend said the burger was very very good too. On top of that, the staff was very polite and it felt really chill, just sit down and have good meal and beer, nothing fancy (although the prices not so much, but I was mentally prepared for it because, well, it’s Hampstead, but also £6 for a pint is just London’s sad reality now isn’t it). Thanks all!

Food was amazing!
Weren’t checked on at all after we had our food and we were in the bar part rather than restaurant which was the probable reason.

If you are looking for an english Sunday roast look no further than The Flask. Great atmosphere, amazing service and an even better ‘Roast Beef’ meal with the family. @The Flask, we can not thank you enough for making a group of Canadians even happier after experiencing a true “Sunday Roast”
Keep it up and I would recommend this place for anyone ✅

Staff are always good here, had the roast for about the 5th time. It is definitely good but it’s the most expensive out of the Hampstead pub roasts as far as I’m aware and it isn’t the best but as I said, it’s nice and look at that generous portion of beef (little bit tough but only as expected from rump).

A nice traditional looking venue and pleasant staff, but purely on the food I would not recommend.
Boiled potatoes and watery gravy for £21.
I’ve had a few roasts in my time and I would have been ashamed to serve those potatoes, dense as anything, pale due to barely any roasting and a gravy so watery adding it to the Yorkshire pudding just made it wet batter as opposed to dry but added no real flavour. I also had to ask for more gravy as after the breast and wing my plate already looked dry.
The half chicken was small, dry in the breast, and the root vegetables amounted to a charred slice of parsnip, a slice of carrot and a bed of beetroot, with cabbage to pad it out. But I did finish them, unlike the Yorkshire and potatoes.
My partner had a potato salad, which while fresh the only real flavour came from the vinegar in the pickles.
Good for a drink, bad for food.
Vegetarian options: My partner has a beetroot allergy which closed most options in the restaurant to her.

Bought my Mum here again to this great Pub but this time for her Birthday. We both had the fish and chips again which was excellent. The waitress was lovely too. Highly recommended!

Treated ourselves to a bit of midweek dinner in the pub after popping to a friend’s art exhibition.
Fell upon this cracking little boozer in Hampstead, loved the atmosphere and the look and feel of the place. Decent selection of beers and the food menu had a good variety of options to choose from.
We are trying to eat a little less meat in the week so plumped for some veggie options and we weren’t disappointed at all.. (I mean look at the depth of the pie, any bigger and I’d have needed climbing gear to get to the top ‍♂️)
Our fave things: The portions… you will not leave this place hungry that’s for sure!!
Just a couple of minutes walk from Hampstead Tube Station
