About The Duke
- 🍺 Friendly local pub with a great selection of interesting and tasty craft beers on tap. Wooden decor and plenty of seating options, basic but functional. Extra star for the beer selection.
- 🥩 Average Sunday Roast, delicious beef but overdone roast tatties and Yorkshire Pudding. Good veg and gravy though. A good stop for lunch after a long walk.
- 🍔 Really good burgers paired with their beer. Great service too.
- 🐟 Great food and service, especially loved the fish and chips with crispy batter.
- 😄 Lovely pub with good ambience, although average service experience. Food looked amazing at other tables too.
- 💡 Cosy chill place with an all-women team led by Gabi who was super friendly and fun. Would’ve preferred dimmer lights for a more romantic vibe. Someone’s food looked delicious at the next table!
- ❌ Bar advertised cocktails but didn’t serve any or know how to make them? Unclean toilets were also a downside. The drinks we did have were nice but not worth it overall.
