- 👍 The jerk chicken and spinach rice at The Cricketers were excellent and amazing.
- 👍 The guv’nor Chin, the owner of the pub, is a real character and loves to chat.
- 👍 This pub is a benefit to the community as it welcomes everyone, and good local pubs are becoming harder to find.
- 🤷♂️ Mixed opinions on the beer selection – on one visit, most of the beers had run out and tasted like cleaning solution. However, they had carried out a lovely refit during lockdown.
- 😔 Disappointment with the lack of basic housekeeping in running the pub. The beer garden was described as a dank area with broken glass and rusting furniture, which left an unpleasant experience for some customers.
- 👏 The Curry on Naanstop dish was described as incredible and one reviewer stated that it was honestly the best meal they’ve had in a very long time. They will definitely be returning for more due to its great taste and value for money. The menu offered an authentic experience similar to street food in Mumbai.
