About The Angel Oak
- 🍽️ The Sunday roast at The Angel Oak was pretty decent, with good pork and chicken, lovely vegetables, and loads of gravy. However, the full kids menu is not available on Sundays, only burgers, fish and chips, and roast. Crispy fries and burgers were a hit with the kids.
- 🎉 A recent visitor recommended The Angel Oak to a friend who then booked it for her husband’s birthday party. They had a corner reserved outside where they enjoyed attentive service despite it being busy. When it started raining later on, a magic canopy appeared above their heads along with heaters to keep them comfortable. Although some popular items were sold out (chicken wings & tofu), the vegan burger and Korean cauliflower were amazing.
- 😎 One reviewer had heard good things about the pub but finally decided to visit for drinks on a sunny bank holiday. They were impressed by the nice and chill vibe of the place. The highlight was the beautiful outdoor patio at the back that made their visit even more enjoyable. Although they didn’t try any food this time, it looked appetizing enough for them to plan on trying some during their next visit.
