About The Anchor
- 🍺 The pub and garden are very nice, and dogs are allowed. There is also air conditioning.
- 💔 Unfortunately, the quality of the food is poor. The steak pie was poorly cooked, with soggy pastry, and the gravy was too thick. The fish & chips had cold chips.
- ⏰ It took over an hour for the food to arrive.
- ✨ On a positive note, Sunday roast was amazing and there was live entertainment. One of the best roasts ever!
- 🍔 A customer had a really nice lunch in the garden with a burger and chips that were good and hot. Loaded burgers are overflowing with fillings.
- ❤️ Nice atmosphere, well-presented food with reasonable prices. Decor is cosy, classy, and smart.
- 😢 Unfortunately, they never had bao buns available when one customer visited.
- 😞 Another customer waited over an hour for subpar food. Southern fried chicken had nice flavor but fell apart easily. Chips were tasty if not overcooked.
