- 🌳 It runs through the woods, covering 2/3 of the way around Ruislip Lido.
- ☕️ There is a cafe and a beach area with a large play park at one end of the railway.
- 💰 Ticket prices are considered reasonable, though some suggest a “day rider” option for unlimited rides would be nice.
- 🚂 On some days, steam engines pull the trains, which can be found on the timetable on their website.
- ⛓️ At one end of the railway, there’s an interesting turntable where you can see the engine being turned around for the next journey.
- 🏞️ The kids enjoyed playing on the beach and it’s recommended as a good picnic spot.
