About Paradise Fields, Horsenden Hill

  • 🌳 The park used to be loved by one person in the past, but they were disappointed with its condition during their recent visit. There was rubbish everywhere and many routes were blocked due to broken trees. But they acknowledged that this might be due to a recent storm.
  • 🚲 Another visitor found the park to be a good place for walks and cycling, with different environments and birds chirping all around. However, they mentioned that the park didn’t appear to be managed well as there was garbage loitering around and a strange smell.
  • 🏟️ On the positive side, there is a great viewing point from the top of the hill where you can see Wembley Stadium and London.
  • 🌾 People found it lovely for walking in the fields or along the canal path, enjoying beautiful views and fresh air.
  • ✨ Some visitors described it as a magical place with spiritual connections. They mentioned its rich history dating back to 2500 BC when a neolithic village was on the hill. It also has connections to World War II trenches, being featured in Dr Who episodes, and even German paratroopers landing near a church named after King Horsea.
