WARNING: AVOID Tricky Company at all costs!
This company initially agreed to a price inclusive of scaffolding, a detail we reiterated several times. Despite our repeated requests for a formal quotation, they continually claimed to be busy and failed to provide any documentation. After a week of waiting, we reluctantly proceeded with the job based on their verbal quote, as it was finally approved by my insurance company. However, on the very same day, they sprung an unexpected demand for an extra £1000 for scaffolding. This deceitful behavior leads me to suspect that this is their standard practice.
My sincere advice: steer clear of this company. Dealing with them is a waste of time and effort. They refuse to furnish written quotations and will likely spring surprise charges on you once you’re committed. It’s plausible that this lack of documentation is deliberate, designed to exploit unsuspecting customers.
