We have been loyal, happy customers of Lily’s Kitchen for over 3 years now and we all love it. Our small dog love their wet food along with the many treats we over order every time. As for us, the pet owners, love the website UX, easy ordering and quick deliveries

My dog absolutely loves the Lily’s Kitchen range! He wouldn’t stop licking his lips after we gave him a Salmon, Sweet Potato and Dill stick.
Bailey preferred the range to his normal dog food, there’s so much more variety with his meals now.
Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for high-quality dog food.

Got our first box of Lily’s Kitchen last week consisting of wet food and treats and our cat Simba absolutely fell in love with it! We even set two bowls down, one containing Lily’s Kitchen and the other his regular cat food and he immediately zoomed towards Lily’s Kitchen. He absolutely loves it and we will definitely be getting Lily’s for him from now on!

We had been using the puppy kibble with good results, however since buying from Pets at Home there has been a definite change in the make up & quality (i.e. size & colour of the kibble), causing my 8 month old pup to have diarrhoea & go off his food overnight (he was vet checked & no other cause found).
Having previously loved the ethos of the brand, we have made the decision to change as Lily’s are obviously now prioritising profits over quality unfortunately.

We’ve fed our family dogs Lily’s Kitchen for over 12 years. Then about 6 months+ ago, we started finding rather large bone pieces in the tins. We thought it might just be an anomaly and threw the bones out and carried on with Lily’s. Recently I opened a tin with about 6 large and very sharp pieces of bone. One very sharp one was over 1.5 cm in length and would have been incredibly dangerous to the dogs if we hadn’t caught it. I won’t be buying from Lily’s anymore as it’s clear this isn’t just a one off. They seem to have a very serious quality control problem. If you do feed your pets Lily’s just make sure you crush every teaspoon (and go though it with your fingers) because cooked bones can cause serious health issues when ingested and can even be fatal.

A couple of weeks ago I bought some wet food from a different brand and complained because I found plenty of little (and also not so little bones) inside the food.
So, I had to buy new wet food and decided to try this brand instead.
I’m utterly shocked for having found exactly the same thing, little bones all throughout.
No wonder cats are often ill with issues with their kidneys or else!
The attached pictures are the findings in just one pouch.
I contacted them and am curious to see their response to it.
Regardless, I will never buy from this brand again.

My girl ADORES Lily’s Kitchen and the range is brilliant. Ever since she was a puppy I have given a wide range of treats and food to my girl and never has she been disappointed. Her favourite are the bed time biscuits (which she just adores) and the pork and apple sausages. Can’t really go wrong with products that are all natural ingredients either.

The new recipe change is a disaster. We ran out of our stockpile of the old recipe Lily’s Kitchen dry cat food, and bought a 2kg bag of the new recipe Fisherman’s Supper dry cat food today. Our cat usually wolfs down her dry food and would meow for more Lily’s Kitchen, but she actually balked at this new recipe. I tried mixing a few pieces in with her usual food but she wouldn’t touch the stuff. And no wonder! When I opened the bag it smelt awful, like urine and rotten fish – the old recipe never smelt anything like this! Why make such terrible changes? It can’t be for the benefit of the animal’s health, because they won’t eat it.
On another note I am saddened to see that they have now been bought by Nestle Purina, which is a company I actively avoid due to their awful history. Not good for a sustainable company like Lilys Kitchen to associate with such a horrid unethical company like Nestle! They have damaged their brand reputation considerably by doing so! I will be seeking a refund on the disgusting 2kg bag, and sorry to say I will never be buying Lilys Kitchen again.

I’ve been buying Lily’s Kitchen since last year and have recommended it to all of my friends that own dogs. This week I’ve been very disappointed with the quality. Firstly, they left multiple items off my online order despite having paid for them. In fairness this was rectified very quickly. But this evening I’ve opened a tin (with an expiry in 2022) and it’s gone off! Their quality assurance processes must be lacking so I’ll be looking for another business next time around. I’m gutted as my dogs love the recipes, but I’m literally throwing my money away when I have to bin the food.

FAQs for Lily’s Kitchen
Hi Donna. Some of the food from Lily’s Kitchen does contain organ meat because it is a great source of protein, vitamins and minerals. I know it can look a bit gross, but dogs absolutely love the taste of organ meat and it is really good for them.
Best to look at the chart on the pack of dry or wet same….if he starts putting weight on keep reducing amounts thats what i do you soon find your way ask your vet the ideal weight to aim for too for a starting point .
