– Excellent food and service, with a delicious pig’s Trotter special of the day and the best pear tart Tatin.
– Great atmosphere and earthy French food, with highly recommended duck confit.
– The restaurant lived up to high expectations, with a joyful welcome and delicious cassis kir royale.
– Starters like endive salad and asparagus with hollandaise were perfectly cooked, and onion tarte with goat’s cheese was also enjoyed.
– The steak frites was exceptional, caramelized on the outside and perfectly rare on the inside.
– A shared rhum baba for dessert was light, fluffy, and soaked in rum, accompanied by Jacques Dutronc and Serge Gainsbourg songs.
– Reasonably priced and enjoyable Languedoc wine was paired with dinner.
– Despite being a bit cramped, the fish dish (possibly the best ever eaten) left a lasting impression and the service was lovely.
