About Hornsey
- 🚂 Nice station with good connections to central London (Moorgate/Old Street) and up north to Stevenage and Cambridge.
- 🌉 There is a bridge that connects the station to Turnpike Lane Station and a bus stop to Archway.
- 📮 There is an inpost post box at the station.
- 💦 Recently had a secret lap pool installed on the roof of platform 2, although it could be chilly during autumn.
- 🏝️ Located on an island platform just off the East Coast Mainline, with GT Northern trains from Moorgate to Stevenage.
- 🛍️ There is a little shop available, but the high-level bridge can be quite exposed.
- ✨ Onsite staff are nice and provide great customer service, helping passengers with luggage and pushchairs if needed.
- ❌ Facilities are not great as there is no step-free access to platforms. Not all stopping trains stop here anymore either.
- ♿ Access for disabled individuals may currently be lacking at this station.
- Overall, Hornsey station is praised for its convenient connections to central London and other destinations both northward and eastward.
