🍽️ Good food and consistent with other Hare & Tortoise locations. Curry laksa was satisfying, although it only had one prawn. Friend’s order of sushi dishes cost about £40.
🍣 Impressive dining experience at Hare & Tortoise Kensington. Sushi platter and vegetable tempura were delicious. Nigiri sushi with various fish including tuna, salmon, and prawn stood out. Fresh sashimi served with dipping sauces. Vegetable tempura perfectly cooked.
😕 Unfortunately, experienced upset stomachs after sashimi and sushi box lunch. Seaweed salad was wet and limp, fish not fresh. Overall, terrible food experience on a Monday afternoon.
👌 Excellent service. First experience with Japanese food here and still a joyful place to return. Perfect everything, fantastic staff, and prices remained the same for 3 years. Keep up the good work!
