👎 Disgusted by the quality, service, and food at Golden Anchor. Chips were hard, curry sauce was frozen, and mixed kebab was inedible.
👍 Local fish and chips that are always freshly cooked. Lovely owners.
😕 Wings were malnourished and disappointing. Chips were okay. Wouldn’t go there again.
👍 Best fish & chip shop in Essex with friendly owners. Great service.
👎 Overcharged and received small portions and poorly buttered rolls. Better options available elsewhere.
😐 Mixed opinions on customer service – main guy sometimes rude, but his wife is welcoming.
👎 Not recommended as a place to eat.
🤷‍♂️ Location is good, but food not tasty and seemed frozen. Did not like it at all.
