- 📝 Kids swimming information on the website was confusing but it’s run by Love Open Water and booking is required (free for kids and supervising adults).
- 🌊 The water temperature was 19 degrees, which some found quite cold. It ranges from 0.6 – 1.5m deep with a pebble floor, so water shoes are recommended.
- 🎉 Very local and great for a quick beach plan that keeps kids busy all day.
- ⛱️ Some regular visitors noticed changes this year: smaller size, no infants pool or ice cream stands, shorter opening period (3 weeks).
- ✨ Despite these issues, they still enjoyed their time there and were grateful that it’s free.
