🏖️ “This is a nice place for a visit,” with a sandpit that kids enjoy.
👶 However, one parent felt sad because the beach wasn’t as expected.
📝 Kids swimming information on the website was confusing but it’s run by Love Open Water and booking is required (free for kids and supervising adults).
🌊 The water temperature was 19 degrees, which some found quite cold. It ranges from 0.6 – 1.5m deep with a pebble floor, so water shoes are recommended.
🎉 Very local and great for a quick beach plan that keeps kids busy all day.
⛱️ Some regular visitors noticed changes this year: smaller size, no infants pool or ice cream stands, shorter opening period (3 weeks).
✨ Despite these issues, they still enjoyed their time there and were grateful that it’s free.
💁‍♀️ Generally friendly and helpful staff made the experience enjoyable.
⏰ They spent hours in the pool and would go again, recommending it to friends and family especially during hotter weather.
