🏰 Custom House station is located in a nice area and easy to navigate. The staff are friendly and the station design is brilliant. It’s conveniently located near the Excel exhibition centre where amazing events are held.
⏰ This station allows for a quick walk to Excel and is the third train station after Abbey Wood. DLR services can be accessed from here. The modern station has become more reachable from the city center thanks to the Elizabeth line.
☔ Unlike other stations on the Elizabeth line, Custom House station is open to the elements, so you might get wet if it’s raining. Some reviewers found that signage to the exit was not obvious, especially if you require a lift. However, getting out of the station and reaching Excel was straightforward enough.
💎 The new Crossrail section has some design flaws like unclear signage and hidden timers but it does provide a good connection for City Airport. Despite this, it still feels clean with happy staff.
