Tips for Playing Crazy Golf

  • How long does it take to play crazy golf? It varies depending on the number of people in the group and how busy the course is. It may take longer if you have to queue for the next hole. On average, a nine-hole mini golf course takes 20 – 30 minutes, and an 18-hole crazy golf course can take 45 minutes upwards.
  • Is mini golf fun? Mini or crazy golf is fun, particularly if a few of you play together. Most crazy golf clubs offer group packages for parties, and it is a popular activity for corporate events.
  • How do you keep score in crazy golf? You use a scorecard and record the number of shots each person takes to sink the ball in the hole.

What’s the secret to winning at crazy golf?

😊 The secret isn’t in flashy, high-risk moves, but rather in consistent, calculated shots. Play it safe, aim for 2 or 3 points per hole, and your score will thank you!

Can I use any mind games to increase my chances of winning?

🎭 Absolutely, part of the fun in crazy golf is the friendly rivalry. You could subtly encourage your opponent to attempt trickier shots while you keep your gameplay steady and strategic.

What should I keep in mind while playing off bumpers?

🧐 When aiming your ball to bounce off a bumper in crazy golf, remember the ball might not bounce off at the exact opposite angle you’d expect. Instead, it tends to bounce at a slightly different angle, less sharp than you’d predict. This is due to how the ball spins and the materials of the ball and bumper. So, when aiming to bounce off bumpers, try to aim a little steeper than you think is necessary.
