About Bramley Bank

  • 🌳 Bramley Bank is a slightly oddly shaped nature reserve with lots of slopes and entrance gates in Roscoe Drive and Broadcombe.
  • 🍂 Despite its shape, the reserve offers a beautiful experience, with a lovely pond and fantastic canopy that shines during autumn. Walkers can find it by going east from Coombe Lane tram stop, turning right down Ballards Way, left down Resco Drive, and reaching the end of that road.
  • ⛰️ This walk may not be suitable for individuals with walking difficulties due to low branches and root systems. However, it is deemed excellent for nature enthusiasts who enjoy immersing themselves in the beauty of the surroundings.
  • 🗑️ Unfortunately, some visitors have disregarded the serene environment by littering. One reviewer even filled a sack with drink cans and bottles found in this otherwise lovely place.
  • 🐕 Bramley Bank is highly recommended for dog owners as it provides a nice, quiet place to go for walks. It conveniently connects Loyds Park and Selsdon Wood while being close to Heatfield Park.
