Please stay away from this company. They were nice until they collected their management fee on a short-let.
Following that, I had to chase them to follow up reports of neglect of my flat. Barrain did not communicate effectively with the tenants, did not meet deposit security obligations despite damages to the property highlighted in the inventory.
I had to chase them on every single occasion despite paying them a hefty management fee and in response they copied and pasted messages from the tenants, for their ‘management fee’.
They are entirely unethical and incapable of delivering on their high standard service promise.
I raised the issues several times, wrote this review in December and took it down in good faith they will improve. However still owe me the portion of the deposit (in addition to denying to cover excessive energy usage costs occurred by the tenants) and they continue to ignore the inventory report and damage cost owed to me.
I am not convinced they undertook due diligence on the tenants either, as Barrain described them as one thing and they turned out to not be students.
Totally unacceptable, and still chasing them to do the job I paid them for.
