Misleading
I booked a wrinkle treatment for three areas after finding the clinic online. My original appointment was cancelled, so I went in to rebook. I was asked by the manager to pay a £30 deposit in cash and was not given a receipt, even though I had asked for one to confirm the price I had been quoted multiple times before booking.
The practitioner, Emma, was very polite and professional, and the treatment itself was fine. However, when I followed up 1.5 weeks later, I saw no visible results. I know Botox can take up to two weeks, but usually there is at least a slight difference — in this case, there was none.
The pricing was also confusing. The deposit was later described as an extra charge, not included in the advertised treatment price, which made the whole experience feel dodgy. Thankfully I had brought extra cash, but I had no proof of payment.
Overall, Emma was excellent, but the lack of clarity around pricing and cash payments, and the fact that the results were absent, made the experience disappointing. I would advise others to double-check all costs and always ask for a receipt.
