🌳 Excellent play park for children under 11ish with plenty of climbing, swinging, and sliding options. However, some people ignore the no dogs signs at the entrance.
🚯 One reviewer finds the children’s play area unsafe and complains about litter in the park. They won’t be returning with their grandchildren.
🏞️ The recreation ground is large and offers a wide variety of modern play equipment suitable for different ages, along with ample green space to run around. It’s a fantastic playground considering it’s open to the public.
🐶 There is a fabulous enclosed dog-only area next to the play area where owners can let their dogs off leash. It’s a great place to meet other dogs and owners, but benches for owners would be a welcome addition.
☀️ The park is safer than being in town and has a soft surface for toddlers. However, there is no shade, making it uncomfortable on hot sunny days. Metal slides also become scorching hot.
⏳ Maintenance is generally good but repairs may sometimes take longer than expected.
