- 🌊 Paddling pool has some issues: The bottom slopes down to the center, making it slippery and causing kids to slip. Joints in the pool surface are broken and poorly repaired.
- 🧢 Playground offers great and varied equipment with soft landing material. Some equipment is challenging. There are also trees to climb and bushes to explore.
- ⚽️ Open areas available for ball games and other sports.
- 🍃 Shady grassy areas perfect for picnics and keeping an eye on the play area.
- 🏫 Cafe and toilets are located near the tennis courts, a bit of a walk away from the main area. They were not used by this reviewer.
- 🎉 Taste of the Caribbean event was held at Croydon Road Recreation Ground on July 2nd and had lots of vendors, families, music, and good weather. It was described as a perfect day.
- 💃 Another reviewer enjoyed the Taste of Caribbean Festival Fun day with jerk food, rum drinks, reggae music, dancing in the sunshine, but mentioned that there weren’t enough VIP perks even though they had VIP tickets.
