About Northfield Allotments
- 🎃 Visited the allotments for the Halloween pumpkin trail and was blown away by the community feel. Families of all ages dressed up, allotment patches were beautifully decorated. BBQ, cake, and bar stood with seating added to the experience.
- 🌭 Great fun atmosphere with loads of effort from the community to make people welcome. Lovely mulled wine and hot dogs. Kids were super excited.
- 🚶♂️ Open day offered a marvelous guided walk full of fascinating details to learn about.
- 👼 “Are you going into heaven?” – a fellow plot-holder asked at the entrance showing that it’s like a breath of fresh air in busy West London. Danger is in developers taking our site!
- 🌿 Peaceful visit to friends’ allotment, amazing variety of cultivation in an urban area.
- 💀 The Halloween pumpkin trail was wonderful with creative designs on quite a large plot of land. The barbecue and mulled wine helped combat the cold weather.
- 🍅 Easily accessible location in Ealing with options for public transportation or a short walk from Uxbridge road.
