- 🙌 The Sunday Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church is lively and vibrant, with a strong African community presence. The service can be quite long (up to two hours), but the joyful atmosphere and enthusiastic participation of the faithful make time fly by. The colorful African attire worn by the congregants and the procession at the end add to the festive experience. Plus, there’s even some dancing involved!
- 😊 Although one person hadn’t been to this church in over 40 years and found the design and interior decor to be bland, they did mention that the congregation was welcoming and friendly. They also noted that while the priest seemed nice, his sermon was difficult to understand as he tended to mumble. However, they pointed out that most of the service is liturgical, so if you’re Catholic you’ll probably be able to recite it by heart.
