About Afternoon Tea at The Egerton
- 👍 Staff were warm and welcoming
- 👍 Ambience was nice, but small space made it easy to hear conversations from other tables
- 👎 Food took 40 minutes to arrive after being seated
- 👎 Scones were served warm, sandwiches were underwhelming
- 💭 Mixed opinions on refills – some expected them but weren’t offered any
- 💭 Salmon sandwich was inedible, smelled fishy and served cold in a dense slice of bread
- 💯 Amazing service from staff, especially Nicole who went above and beyond for a doggie’s birthday afternoon tea
- 💔 Cakes were dry and not great
- ❓Mixed opinion on price – some felt it wasn’t worth it while others enjoyed the salmon sandwich.
