- Overall, The Word Bookshop offers delectable curation, design, and deals that caught the attention of a bibliophile on the bus. The person who serviced them was really nice & talkative. Although New Cross Gate may have other smaller bookshops in charity shops, this one stood out as an excellent find. It may be small in size but it surprises customers with its quality stock. Additionally, there are good deals available at the shop.
