About The Volunteer
- 👍 Good old-fashioned local pub with reasonable prices.
- 🎶 VERY LOUD music, but not too bad if you don’t mind.
- 💎 Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and a good sized beer garden.
- 👩🍳 Staff and management are lovely, making it a gem of a place to visit.
- ⚽ Brilliant pub for drinking beer and watching football, with a nice crowd.
- 🏠 The Volunteer is like a community hub where people from different backgrounds come together. Some believe that many pubs are closing down, but this one has stood tall for over 100 years.
- ✨ Great selection of drinks, clean facilities, pool darts, music box – it has everything!
- 😢 Unfortunately closed at the moment for refitting, but eagerly awaiting its reopening.
- 🎯 Nice traditional pub where you can enjoy playing darts or watching football. Reasonably priced drinks including good house wine.
- 😊 New landlady is amazing and ensures everyone feels very welcome with plenty of smiles. The atmosphere is really friendly here.
