- 🍺 The Red Lion is a clean pub with lots of seating and a decent outdoor space. It has a casual ‘spoons vibe.
- 🚗 There is free customer parking available, but the pub is not wheelchair accessible.
- 🍽️ On one visit, the carvery chef and waitress were friendly and helpful. The food was good, with hot vegetables and acceptable roast potatoes. The gravy was hot and plentiful. Contrary to other reviews, the roast beef was not tough.
- 🍖 There is a choice of roasts – ham, pork, turkey, and beef – with plenty of everything available at 3pm. It offers good value for money.
- 😊 The staff at The Red Lion are lovely and it’s easy to get a table. The carvery portions are generous with good quality meat. There’s also a nice selection of vegetables and interesting drinks at reasonable prices.
- 🚘 There’s free parking available on-site which adds to the convenience of having a cheap but tasty family meal.
