First-Timer Tips for Visiting a Cat Cafe
- No flash photography – who really uses flashes any more anyway? Best to turn yours off anyway, just in case! Kitties don’t like bright flashing lights, and the cat cafe staff won’t appreciate it either.
- Keep your children with you – cat cafes aren’t childcare centres, so if you’re coming with your children, make sure to keep an eye on them.
- Check the age limits – quite a few cat cafes don’t allow children to attend if they’re under 10 years old. This varies from place to place, but it’s always best to check FAQ’s or give them a ring prior to booking or turning up.
- Don’t pick up the cats – we know they’re cute, like really very cute, but don’t pick up the cats. You can appreciate them by gently patting them or gazing at them lovingly from afar while you eat your way through a giant scone.
