- 👎 The first reviewer had a disappointing experience at Balans West for breakfast/brunch. The place was half empty, and even though they could see their food ready, the waitress didn’t pick it up promptly, resulting in cold food.
- 🥩 The steak and eggs ordered by the first reviewer was not cooked to their liking. After sending it back, it returned overcooked and accompanied by hard-boiled eggs and watery potatoes.
- 🍊 On a positive note, the orange juice is highly recommended.
- 😕 However, due to the overall poor experience and the expectation of receiving freshly cooked food for the price they paid (£20 for steak and eggs), this couple does not plan on returning anytime soon.
- 👎 Another brunch-goer at Balans West found fault with their lobster Benedict. The eggs were well-cooked but unfortunately, the lobster lacked taste and seasoning. It was also overcooked and rubbery.
- 🥞 Furthermore, when this person tried to order pancakes, they were disappointed to learn that they were out of stock.
