About The Bell Inn
- 👍 The manager was very apologetic and doing his best to run the pub with the limited staff he had.
- 👎 Unfortunately, some of the staff let down the manager on his second week.
- 🤷♂️ The order didn’t go through properly, resulting in a long wait for the food.
- ❌ Some items were missing from the order, including a vegan burger that they didn’t inform us about.
- 😕 Sweet potato fries were actually normal fries and difficult to eat. The curry was tasteless and naan bread burnt. There was also raw garlic in the Camembert starter, and plates weren’t brought initially by the waitress.
- 🆓 The manager did offer a complementary main meal as an apology but wasn’t ideal since good quality food is preferred over freebies.
- ✨ On a positive note, their Sunday roast had great food with amazing Yorkshire puddings!
- 😒 However, service took a hit when one server seemed disinterested and abandoned their table to sit with friends.
- 💼 During lunch on June 24th, the room was pleasant along with friendly staff.
