A Long time ago was a Hampstead assembly room in 1880, then theatre.
As a cinema it was transformed in 1933.
Personally,I was here for the first time,I was afraid of the stench of the old building because I do not like it,but I was surprised that despite the old building there was no smell at all.The cinema has it’s own reception area,each one has its own lore.Clients can order everything while sitting in the lodge,which will be brought to you by waiter : alcohol,food,popcorn,all drinks e.t.c
They make you feeling extravagant ☺️☺️
We spent the evening pleasantly,I’ll definitely be back there.

Maybe it’s me but I don’t see the big woo hoo about this place. The hood is good. Spacious seats, good view you can eat snd drink. But would you? A burger in a couch seat over a table. People eating all round you whilst you watch a film? Not just popcorn but full-size burgers. And the price but maybe you expect and accept that.

Very cool upholstered sitting spaces. Wish it was a tad brighter there, but we move. The selection of food and drinks was soooo good- had the carrot cake with ice cream, would so recommend. Next time I want to try the truffle artichoke dip (crazy!!) Sat on a couch in the theatre. Would be a fantastic date spot.

My fav cinema in town for a quiet, chill time. Food / drinks are served inside the room which is lovely , you have plenty of space and it looks gorgeous with that vintage vibe. Staff are super cool too

Relaxing place to see a film with seat-side service offered for drinks, nibbles and more. Staff are very friendly and welcome you to the cinema before the film starts.

Love this place.
Cosy, welcoming, great service, food and beverage. Everything an elevated cinema experience should be, with character and good vibes to boot.
For parents of newborns – they also have baby club one morning a week so you can enjoy a trip to the cinema in a baby-friendly environment. Coffee and cake included in admission, and subtitles are provided on screen so you won’t miss the plot when baby cries out.

No. Side road parking only which is difficult.
Yes there are local roads that have parking to the sides but they are usually full and squashed. There are also other spaces along the roads of Hampstead nearby.
