Thoroughly enjoyed my cooking class there. I did French pâtisserie, which was great, if not a little difficult in the August heat! Only gripe I would have, would be single people having to partner up. I know it makes sense portion wise, but if I have paid for myself, I want to make the food myself. Teachers were excellent though, very knowledgeable, ultra friendly and the food was great! Very happy with the experience and will return definitely.

I attended the pasta class led by Valeria and it was one of the best cooking classes I have been to. Friendly atmosphere, a very knowledgeable instructor, and importantly lots of delish pasta! Would highly recommend and looking forward to trying out more of Borough Kitchen’s classes.

I attended a Korean cooking class at the Hampstead branch recently and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The class was held by Panos, who was kind and light-hearted, yet informative. We were also hosted by Eve, who very kindly looked after our practical needs, bringing us clean equipment, clearing up for us and making the evening easy! We started with Panos ensuring we were all settled and introduced, he told us what we would be making whilst establishing our familiarity with Korean food. We worked our way through 3 recipes with complete guidance, comfort and fun. The results were delicious and made to feel very easy. I felt like the evening went very quickly because it was just so enjoyable. This must have translated to observers because many people stopped to watch us through the window and one guy even came in to ask for more information on future classes. I did really like the set-up of the class kitchen amongst the store itself, it felt very fluid. Overall, I had a great educational evening, I walked away feeling like I’d really learnt something, but without pressure or any feeling of inferiority. I’d also gained some kitchen skills, some new knowledge (not just Korean-specific) and a full, happy tummy! A class would make a great gift or treat for a foodie!!

We didn’t buy anything from here, very expensive. However, the staff were so kind and welcoming. They even made us a coffee. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced.

I love this kitchen shop: you find quality dishes, beautiful plates and cooking furnitures. Also the staff is really knowledgeable, likeable. This is a great asset for the shop to have such team.
I would say this is place I like to spend some time to pick ideas up for the family.

We are regular customers but never thought we would buy coffee machine here until we met Vasily! He was demonstrating the Pavoni and he sold this machine to us due to his passion and enthusiasm! His knowledge is unbelievable and answer all our questions with his in-depth knowledge! Even few months after we brought the machine, he still go beyond his normal duty to assist us. As a customer we have many choices but if you go the extra mile like Vasily, he will always get my business and recommendations!

I did the pasta making class and it was fantastic! Well paced, good size group and highly informative whilst also being entertaining (and tasty!). The foundational instruction was thorough and clearly demonstrated – once we had the basics in the bag we could then get creative with our lasagne and tortellini. I’ve since bought myself a pasta roller and am loving it. Highly recommended as a great gift or as an upskilling opportunity for enthusiastic home cooks.

This was a great class! John was a great teacher and answered any questions we had. We made three different types of dumplings and had loads of fillings and dough to take home.
I was a bit worried I’d find a three hour class after work difficult but the time went really quickly.
Overall I would highly recommend this class. It isn’t the cheapest but overall it’s well worth the money.

Enjoyed an excellent fish cookery course last Tuesday. Took Lovely Raymond, a novice in the kitchen for his big 0 birthday and he had a fabulous time too! Highly recommend, just thinking about the next course to sign up to. Thank you, great teaching with good measure of humour too!

These courses are fantastic. I’ve just completed the gluten free baking course and I now understand how to create my own baking flour and gluten free recipes. Gluten free goodies have just became delicious. Our teacher was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so many baking tips. Looking forward to another session.

Dear Andy, Many thanks for your enquiry. We don’t sell those type of pot cleaners. However, we do sell a very effective Copper Cloth by Redecker that is sold in a pack of 2 and is machine washable. We have stock both at our Hampstead store as well as online. I hope this helps.
Hello Marij, Thank you for the question. We carry an excellent line of anodised aluminium from Mauviel’s M’Stone range. This is an excellent, durable non-stick range from Europe’s best maker of cookware. All of its pieces work on any hob (induction, gas, Aga, etc), except for the roaster which is not-induction compatible, but works in the oven or any other type of hob. https://www.boroughkitchen.com/brands/mauviel/m-stone
From recollection of my visit, they do but will be worth calling in to check. They are responsive
