🐟 Delicious fish dishes, sticky toffee pudding, and raspberry sorbet. Some mixed opinions on the new potatoes which tasted powdery. Great overall experience.
🍽️ Excellent service and tasty, fresh food. Chef accommodated dietary needs of non-fish eater. Highly recommended for both small and group bookings.
🍽️ Modern and Essex-style ambiance. Quick service for starters, pace slowed down when it got busier. Halibut fillet and cod and chips were cooked to perfection.
🍽️ Glaring omissions from the menu mentioned, such as potted shrimp and smoked haddock chowder. Booked a return visit in December. Overall loved the experience.
😊 Wonderful experience with perfect atmosphere, food, and friendly service. Alex the waiter was exceptional. A place to remember.
👍 Great food, lovely staff. Whitebait and fish cakes were enjoyable starters. Good-sized main dish. New potatoes were plain/boring, but everything else was 10/10.
🍷 Excellent first visit with amazing food and good service. Nice selection of wines. Will definitely come back soon.
