About Gunnersbury Triangle Local Nature Reserve

  • 🌿 Gunnersbury Triangle Local Nature Reserve is a small, peaceful area in the middle of Chiswick with a mini forest and a beautiful little pond. It’s like a hidden gem between the railway and residential buildings.
  • 🦅 Some visitors were lucky enough to see sparrowhawks and newts, which they had been searching for since arriving in London. For calm and curious individuals, this reserve is the perfect spot to relax and observe nature.
  • 🚂 Although there is a railway line along one side of the reserve and a road on the other, it surprisingly remains reasonably peaceful. However, one visitor mentioned that they didn’t encounter much wildlife during their visit.
  • 🌳 The fact that this green space has been preserved instead of being converted into housing developments is incredible. The reserve is well-maintained by volunteers who have done an excellent job keeping it intact.
  • ⏰ With paths that take about 20-30 minutes to walk around, Gunnersbury Triangle is not huge but still offers a nice opportunity for walks in nature. Keep in mind that it may not be suitable for jogging due to less-maintained roads.
