🛥️ Bonito sitio para pasear y ver los barcos. Si tienes suerte puedes ver cómo se abren las esclusas para dejar pasar a los barcos.
🚶‍♀️ Great place to come for a smoke, or for a walk. Would recommend for the scenery here alone, but there is a pretty good path up and down the river to walk along, which is also fantastic. Pretty great spot for taking pictures.
📸 I visited here in March 2022 as part of walking the Capital Ring around London. I had never visited this area before (or even heard of the lock or river) but I found it a surprising pictures hidden gem as it felt a bit less industrial than some of the other locks on the route.
⚡ Electric locks activated by BW key. Below these locks, the canal is part tidal and water levels can fluctuate. There is also private mooring below this and a staging area for the Thames lock.
💦 The lock looks very pretty to walk down, there are lots of moored long boats surrounded by new stylish high-rise apartments.
