Camden Additional Restrictions Grants available to support local business

Camden council has launched an additional grant programme to help support the borough’s evening and night time economy, as more live music and cultural venues reopen.

There is a range of one-off grant payments available depending on the type or size of venue, including:

  • Grants of up to £10,000 for live music venues
  • Grants of up to £10,000 for museums, galleries and theatres
  • Grants up to £2,000 for street traders or fixed premises in certain areas
  • Grants of up to £12,000 to support businesses still affected by restrictions and who may not have received grant support

Businesses can check their eligibility for a grant, find out more and apply online.

We know it has been a tough year so we are delighted to support our local venues as they reopen in time for the summer holidays, ready to welcome customers and visitors back.

Our local businesses and high streets are part of what makes Camden vibrant and unique and while 19 July marked an important milestone in our fight against the pandemic, coronavirus cases are continuing to rise and people are still catching the virus.

To help keep everyone safe and ensure our local venues stay open, Camden’s public health team’s strong advice is to continue to be careful and to keep following the ‘hands, face, space, fresh air and testing’ advice as closely as you can when you are out and about.

We want everyone to have an enjoyable summer, and to make the most of all that is open and on offer across the borough. Continuing to follow the hands, face, space and testing advice is something we can all do to help protect each other. It has helped to save lives so it is important to keep it up Camden.
