About Harvard Hill Recreation Ground
- 🌳 Harvard Hill Recreation Ground is a peaceful and well-maintained park, despite being located next to the Great West Road.
- 🌟 The park features a separate children’s play area which has recently been enhanced by volunteers from the Friends of Harvard Hill and staff from Lampton GreenSpace 360.
- 💣 Previously known as The Wreck, the park was hit by bombs during WW2 and was never rebuilt on. However, it remains a popular spot for local kids to hang out.
- 👪 There is plenty of space for children to run around, with a big slide and various climbing toys available.
- 🐶 Dogs are welcome in the green areas but are not allowed inside the playground as it is separated by a fence.
- 🚂 Conveniently sandwiched between a railway line and the M4, with Gunnersbury being the nearest station.
- ⭐ While not deemed as “THE best” park in Chiswick, it offers ample space for both kids and dogs to enjoy.
