Located in one of Hampstead’s prettiest streets, famed for its fine display of Georgian houses and postcard vistas, this a restaurant brought to you by the previous management team of the Old White Bear in Hampstead. The restaurant is housed in the old vaults of this wonderful Georgian building.
The Menu at 28 Church Row takes its inspiration from the best of Spanish and Italian cuisine with small plates designed for sharing. The concept in the kitchen is to let the quality of the ingredients do the talking, importing produce directly from source where possible and cooking it simply to not over complicate the dishes. The experienced team at 28 Church Row bring a new inspired offering to Hampstead.
The wines have been carefully selected to find the best of new and old world wine on offer. Some have been selected from wine makers that have produced wines for 300 years or more, others are from small lesser known wineries only producing a few hundred bottles a year. All wines are also available to take away at a discounted price.
The bar’s selection of spirits allows you to enjoy some lesser known & interesting aperitifs & digestives whilst also allowing the bartenders to create the classic cocktails of times gone by.
Reservations - The relaxed environment at 28 Church Row is reflected in our no reservations policy, if we do not immediately have a table available when you arrive, there is a cosy vault area to relax in with a drink and some tapas whilst one becomes available.
