Feast from the Middle East Cooking Class

This class draws inspiration from Arabic, Israeli and North African culinary traditions to teach you the components of a classic mezze platter, including how to make harissa, hummus, and tahini from scratch (you’ll ditch the store-bought stuff as soon as you taste the difference).

The main dish is shakshuka—an egg-centric dish you’ll turn to, and tweak, over and over again because it’s so versatile.

During the class you’ll make:

  • Harissa and tahini: making these flavourful sauces completely from scratch
  • Hummus and babaganoush
  • Lamb kofta
  • Shakshuka
