About Edgware Central Mosque
- 🕌 Edgware Central Mosque is the largest mosque in Edgware, with space for around 120 people on the ground floor and possibly more upstairs.
- 👥 It has a nice community feel, with chairs available for people to sit and chat before prayers.
- 🔴 The mosque has a beautiful dark red carpet with spaced out place markings, although people often crowd together during Salah.
- 🧻 The toilet was clean, but there was no toilet paper available. However, there was soap by the sink.
- 💦 The wudu area is clean and well-maintained. There is also a narrow corridor where shoes are removed before entering the prayer hall.
- ✨ The prayer hall itself is large, warm, and inviting. It features blinds on the windows, fans all around, a digital Salah time clock, books, collection tins, and a calendar for the year.
- ⛅️ On a rainy Sunday afternoon for Asr prayer service, there were approximately 60 worshippers present including children.
