Return of a faulty hoover, Imogene a very rude customer service
Went to return a hoover that has lost its suction, it’s 6 months old and the warranty is for a year, so I asked the store assistant (Imogene) for a full refund as I am well within my rights, I am very knowledgeable and know my rights as a customer and clearly she is very inexperienced and has very very bad customer service, she got the hoover out couldn’t even put it together I had to show her, and believe me it’s in 3 parts a baby could do it, then she hoovered a flat hard floor and told me the suction was fine and she thinks there is nothing wrong with it and basically called me a liar and said she has the right to refuse a refund if she thinks the item isn’t faulty, she was so rude clearly knows nothing about Hoover’s argued with me, I’m a professional cleaner off 30 years and know if a hoover has lost suction and this was the 3rd time I have returned this hoover exchanged for a new one so just wanted a refund, and she still thinks she has the right to decide even though a warranty lasts for a year to refuse me a refund, the Aduicaty of the rude very bad staff member I was shocked and disgusted with her IV never in my life experienced such miss used authority, which she clearly had none off but acted like she was the boss! she was called Imogene and I have complained to her boss. I have also 30 years in customer experience and would never dream of treating a customer like that! Beware if you may return an item use a different argos or different store altogether
