About St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church
- 🏛️ Beautiful church with lovely artwork and smells
- 🎶 Lots of singing during the service, but congregation doesn’t seem to sing
- ⛪️ Service lasts about 3 hours on Sundays with a fair amount of standing
- 🔴 Mostly Greek, some English prayers and services in Cypriot and Greek style
- 💒 Individual chairs instead of benches for seating
- 🥄 Communion is given by a spoon, same spoon for everyone
- 🇬🇷 At the end of the service, they sing the Greek national anthem and distribute bread and small tubs of fruit outside the side entrance
- ☕ Saint Panteleimon center offers coffee or tea with scones or croissants for socializing
- 🅿️ Slight downside is parking but possible to find nearby.
