After 3 years, the rivets on my frying pan and saucepan failed. I tried to get replacements using the lifetime guarantee.
The lady at on duty at Le Creuset Hampstead refused to replace the frying pan citing various reasons. She first tried to say it wasn’t Le Creuset, I pointed out the label and she did not like that we’d not looked after it since the rivets failed.
Having refused to replace the frying pan, she did “as a gesture of goodwill” – her words, concede to replacing the saucepan.
It struck me as penny pinching for such an expensive store.
However, I’m not giving the store 1 star because of Denise. Denise is usually in and really looks after you. I like Denise.

I bought a signature cast iron round casserole from here! Such a classic one! I want to buy one for sooooo long Such a nice shop! All the cooking and baking tools are placed in an organised and lovely way! Worth to try it!

The store is absolutely beautiful, albeit with a variety of expensive products which nonetheless, cater to all your cooking, baking and drinking needs. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, their stockroom is tiny and can’t stock a lot of products.
Furthermore, the gentleman who posted a second review has obviously made a blunder and left a negative review due to this. In all fairness, if you purchase an unwanted item, you are entitled a refund provided you have the receipt and make sure it is returned within a certain number of days. Otherwise anyone could claim they purchased a product and attempt to fraud the business.
If I were him, I’d improve on my communication skills and not let my ego get in the way of it.

I purchased two items two weeks ago, but later realized I wasn´t going to use them. When I visited the shop again to return the items, they explained me that is not possible to obtain a refund, only an exchange, which is a company policy indicated in a note next to the till, in a extremely plain typography and completely unnoticeable. When I first bought the items no one told me about this. To stirr the pot even more (he he he) if the items of the exchange were less than my previous amount I would lose the outstanding money because … at this point I just got really angry and stopped listening. I don´t think they sell bad quality items, but after this experience, I don´t thill I’ll ever buy any product from this brand.

Top of the range saucepans. Now in some great colours = yellow, green , violet, blue – and the traditional orange. You cannot get better saucepans than these – unless you get all copper pans which are very heavy and tough to clean and shine. Do visit the very nearby Oxfam bookshop ( turn left out of the Le Creuset shop ) for a good choice of second hand books.
