The quality was definitely delivered. Each dish was presented beautifully. It was a great experience. They come with a real menu. My lychee cocktail was delicious. The dumplings weren’t my go-to but they were still good ! Fish was delicious. We went on a Monday so the ambiance wasn’t quite there but would still highly recommend as the dishes are really amazing.

Overall great experience! The food is well presented, restaurant is clean, and ambiance is cozy. The only thing, as a personal thought only, food is a little too sweet for my taste, but may be it was my selection…will give it another go for sure.

Excellent food served at the Patara Thai restaurant on Hampstead heath High Street.
Attentive staff delivering a high level of service.
The food was excellent especially recommended is the Tum Yum Soup which was excellent, delicious and just the right amount of spice.
The Pad Thai was also very good.
We enjoyed an excellent lunch washed down with a bottle of the Collect Rose Champagne.
Definitely a place to visit if you love Thai food.

Food was delicious, service was fast and super friendly! Would say it’s more expensive than other pretty decent Thai food I’ve had, but very reasonable for the location

Extremely disappointing restaurant, food, ambiance and service. All the food we ordered was quite bland compared to any cheaper Thai restaurant particularly in bang bang. Only item we agreed was worth the high prices was the beef with basil. Ambiance upstairs is almost hospital like, maybe better downstairs but it was full. Service was there when you got up to look for it. A group of 7 of us won’t be returning.

Excellent food, delightful service. They even made us a homemade lemonade that wasn’t on the menu!

Lovely food but the tall male server is beyond rude. I’ve never seen a waiter stand over a customer waiting until they’ve finished so he can take their plates away but this man thinks it’s acceptable. We were spoken to very rudely too. The other staff were lovely but I won’t be going back for fear we’d meet this lad again.

Fancied Thai food and after doing some looking around found this place….booked a table and turned up….
Good: food was excellent and service once it started was great.
Bad: service at the beginning, they weren’t particularly busy when we arrived yet after 15minutes we had to ask for a menu….after this the service improved greatly and the rest of the evening was good.

It’s a busy restaurant. We went on a Thursday evening and it was practically full. Tables were quite close to each other and you can hardly hear yourself talking. Service was amicable but we were quite forgotten for a long time. The satay passed the test and I was surprised by the prawn satay, which I don’t usually order.
The water spinach was quite good, but a far cry from the authentic Pak Bung.
The green curry chicken, well, it was passable. The chicken itself was plasticky – didn’t taste fresh. It was definitely overpriced, as so was the rice! Almost 4 GBP for a bowl of plain rice???
Also discretionary service (12.5%> was automatically added. If it was discretionary, shouldn’t we be asked first?
Not recommended.
