Lovely, modern venue, with great plays, like “Peggy for you” with the great Tamsin Greig. However, the over-sensitive fire alarm triggered by someone in the middle of the play could not be discarded as “false alarm”, and therefore audience, actors and staff had to get out and wait outside the Swiss Cottage Library, one block away… Luckily it was in the afternoon and despite the cold, it wasn’t raining.

I’ve watched some great productions both upstairs and downstairs at this place. Toast drinks are served by very friendly staff and although I’ve not had the wine, the price looks very reasonable. Get in if you can to the first five or so showings of a new show and you’ll get wonderfully priced tickets. Attracts some of the best writing around and the main room is impressively fitted out. If you like a beer then the pub across the road is good, for both pre and post-show!

A last minute visit to see the wonderful Tamsin Greig in Peggy For You. To sit 5 rows back in this beautifully intimate theatre was an utter delight. I always enjoy my visits to Hampstead Theatre. Apart from the great productions, the foyers are spacious, with excellent bar, also serving great coffee and snacks too. Perfect!

Excellent performance of The Fellowship, thoroughly enjoyed myself. All The Staff I came in contact with were very nice and helpful. I didn’t give myself enough time to be punctual and I was ushered in without being disruptive to the Cast and Audience. I would definitely return soon. The Fellowship is a must see Production.

The Fellowshi. The actors were excellent. They did make us believe in them. The story was good but I felt it covered so many issues and we never really were able to immerse ourselves in one issue before we had to move onto another issue. However the main issue was portrayed loud and clear. This was easier for me to understand as I was part of the era and part of what actually happened.
I love the theater and I am really looking at supporting by recommendation and return visits. The staff at the theater are excellent.

Wonderful theatre, comfortable bar and lounge area, and, frequently, well-produced and stimulating theatre. Bold premieres rather than proven money-spinners. Always a rewarding evening out.

Very convenient for public transport as the theatre is adjacent to Seiss Cottage tube station. Nice bar and comfortable seating. I also enjoyed the play, ‘The Fellowship’, as a child of the Windrush Generation from the Caribbean, who lived through the back story covered.
