- 👍 Overall, had a positive experience at Carew Academy
- 👨🏫 Teaching staff were helpful and supportive most of the time
- 💼 Some teachers were strict but fair
- 😄 Mr Alexi was a favorite teacher who made learning fun and made students laugh too
- 😬 Mr Smille wasn’t the smiliest teacher, but had a resemblance to comedian Harry Hill
- 🍽️ Food quality varied depending on who was cooking on the day
- 🤝 Made good friendships and left with good memories
- ❓ Some work aspects were hard to understand at times
- 🎨 Great lunchtime clubs, especially enjoyed Art
- 🎵 Music classes were fantastic
- 💼 TA’s were very helpful
- 😔 Concerns about not enough being done to address past anxiety
- ✏️ English classes were fantastic, math classes were okay
- ❓ Questioning why Ofsted replaced some good teachers/TA’s
- ❤️ Lovely school atmosphere but thinks more focus should be placed on education rather than extracurricular activities
- ✋ Believes children are given simple education below their level which makes progress harder in the outside world.
